The Teen Readers Advisory Club advises the library on teen interests and trends. Members recommend titles for the Young Adult collection and suggest ideas for teen programs. Occasionally, members help Youth Services facilitate programs for other age groups as well.

Who can participate in TRAC?
This program is for teens entering 6th—12th grades.

Participants must have read one book from the young adult collection before each meeting. During the meeting each participant will give a brief book talk about their selection. Keep in mind that the goal of a book talk is to tell enough about the title to encourage fellow teens to read the title, without giving away the ending.

Following the book talks, teens will have time to socialize, make recommendations for future programs, and participate in various group activities. Snacks will be provided during all meetings.

Registration is required.

If Brownstown Central Community School closes due to weather, all Youth Services programming will be canceled.
